The Simmons University Scholarship in the USA offers a competitive,
merit-based scholarship opportunity for undergraduate students interested in a
transformative education. This scholarship is awarded for a four-year,

While Simmons University offers a range of financial aid options based on

Types of Simmons University Scholarship
Scholarships offered as part of the admission process
1- First year scholarships
First-year students are automatically considered for merit-based
scholarships when they apply to the Simmons University Scholarship. They do not
need a separate application and are part of the admissions process. These
scholarships run up to $27,000 annually, renewable for four years.
The Simmons University Trustee Scholarship, Presidential Scholarship,
Scholarship, Dean’s Scholarship, Director’s Scholarship, and Achievement
Scholarship.

2- Simmons University
Transformational Scholarship
Transferred students are automatically considered for merit-based
scholarships when they apply to Simmons University. These do not require a
separate application and are part of the admission process. Scholarships range
from $7,000 to $17,000 annually.

3- Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships
Transfer students and Dix Scholars who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa
Honor Society receive a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship worth $2,000 annually,
renewable for four years. No separate application is required; The scholarship
is awarded automatically to any student whose membership of the Phi Theta Kappa
appears in their transcript or who sends an email
from an chapter advisor undergraduate
admissions noting their membership.
4- Simmons
University Scholarship in the Faculty of Social Sciences
Students who have attended or attended Massachusetts community colleges are
eligible for this scholarship, which can be up to $20,000 annually. Both
transfer students and adult students (students over 24 years old) are
considered for this scholarship.
5- Dorothea Lind Dix Scholarship
Dix Scholarship applications are automatically considered when they apply to
the Simmons University Scholarship. They do not need a separate application and
are part of the admissions process. (This scholarship is up to $5,000 USD for
the first two consecutive semesters of
Registration).

6- Graduate Scholarship
Children and grandchildren of Simmons Scholarship alumni are automatically
eligible for an Alumnae Scholarship of $2,000 annually, renewable for four
years. No separate application is required.
7- Kotsen Scholarships
The Kotzen Scholarship provides full tuition, room and board, plus an
additional $3,000 for academic assignments such as study abroad, research
support, and more. Applications are submitted on the 1st of December.
8- Boston Scholarships
The Boston Scholarship provides full tuition fees, especially for students
graduating from one of Boston’s public high schools or charter schools.
Applications are submitted on February 1st.

Simmons University Scholarship
Requirements
- Apply as a
new student in the fall semester. - Standardized
test score of 28 or higher (ACT), 1300 or higher (New SAT) or 1250 or
higher (Old SAT – CR+M). Minimum of 600 in each SAT section (highly
recommended). - TOEFL and
SAT or ACT scores must be submitted for applicants whose first language is
not English. - Must have
a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.3 or higher. - Be
familiar with the college preparatory curriculum, including mathematics at
an advanced level or during or before high school. - Be in
possession of honors, advanced level (AP) and International Baccalaureate
(IB) courses, as available in high school systems.
